The WM-306B is a universal RS232 to RS485 bidirectional converter, designed specifically for interface conversion when extending RS232 transmission distances.
It incorporates several proprietary innovations from BTL, including built-in data collision protection control, power, and signal indicator lights, instantaneous voltage suppression with TVS protection.
To accommodate the characteristics of RS485 multi-bus wiring, three sets of wiring methods have been expanded at the RS485 interface, allowing buses from multiple directions to connect effectively and prevent bus entanglement.
The converter’s main physical interface and data lines are made of all-copper material to ensure communication stability. It also features an aluminum casing with anti-oxidation properties, which can shield against external interference and provide good heat dissipation.
