This wireless HDMI WiFi video transmitter has specific requirements for PC and Android mobile Type-C ports:
– Your Type-C port must support DP (Display Port Alternate Mode) which includes power, data, and video transmission, also known as Thunderbolt video.
The Mate series transmitters work with all laptops, including Windows and macOS. Mate2 C-1, Mate-3 C-1, and Mate4 C-1 additionally support Android mobiles with DP Alt output. Without DP support, the transmitter won’t transmit video, only showing a QR code for the User Manual.
Make sure your Type-C port supports DP, which can sometimes be indicated by symbols like a trident (basic Type-C), PD (power delivery), DP (Display Port alt video), or a lightning bolt (Thunderbolt video) near the port.
